Workplace health and safety and occupational health are important features of any considered approach to managing workplace health and wellbeing.  In Ireland, there is a well-developed legislative base for health and safety that has been developed on the basis of collaboration with the European Commission.  The Health and Safety Authority provides a comprehensive overview of current and forthcoming legislation (link here), while the Health and Safety Review (link here) provides an up-to-date commentary on developments in the area.

However, health and safety is not the only area of relevant legislation for workplace health and wellbeing. Legislation in the area of sickness benefits (link to DSP here) and equality (link to Human Rights and Equality Commission here) are also relevant.
